Replacing the hard drive varies in cost depending on the type and memory capacity you choose. You should be able to buy the drive in the range of $175.00 - $500.00. I’d recommend that you get a Solid State hard drive as they are much faster than the drive in your Mac now. Buy one with a larger capacity than the one you have now too. You’ll enjoy the extra room. Consider having it installed by a professional unless you are really an accomplished GEEK yourself! Making sure you get a good OS installation and transferring you apps and data from your old drive can be tricky!
