If your wireless HUB is setup for DHCP, this TV will connect with this option as well as using a static IP to stream video or accessing the internet. Since my hub was set to DHCP, all I did was select this option within the TV setup as my HUB is and connected successfully which is the easiest of the setup. As for a higher frequency, this will have to be based on your wireless HUB model setup and the amount of bandwidth your receiving. What ever your HUB is setup for, this TV will connect at. Naturally the higher the bandwidth, the faster your streaming will become, the slower the band width the slower the streaming will get including buffering which will slow down your viewing dramatically and be frustrating to watch. So make sure you have enough bandwidth speed to enjoy any type of movie, video or live event to avoid any issues you decide to view.
