This tv has awesome sound. Thought I would have to buy surround sound bar, but you dont need it with this one

Sound quality is a very personal thing. You can hear the sound and it isn't bad.

The sound is good, you won't be blown away but it sounds clear and it does get pretty loud if you put it all the way up. I would recommend a surround sound (if it's in your budget) i got the samsung 1000w speakers with Blu-ray and connected the Blu-ray to the hdmi 3 port to ARC it so when I turn on the tv it automatically turns on the surround sound and also turns of when I turn off the tv, it is all done with the tv remote including controlling the volume.
