“I wanted the curved model but it seems to be inferior to the reg. Flat screen models. What is the curve benefit over that of the flat. I want the best and most current 55" model BUT not priced over $799. Please help asap want to buy now!”

The curved screen has a movie theatre appeal to us. When sitting straight on you don't notice the curve but you have the feel of being there. We had the previous Samsung flat screen (which is now in the 2nd bedroom) to be inferior in viewing. This was definitely a new experience. The picture quality is impressive. We are still talking about it! Oh and I bought mine for 599. Get them while they are hot!
