• I don't know about wifi but I don't use voice commands for the remote and it works just fine.

• Hi there - The QN90A will need to have an Internet connection (LAN or Wi-Fi) to access the TV's Smart features such as the App Store or built-in voice assistants. You can take advantage of hands-free Alexa and Bixby voice commands when the Voice Wake-Up function is enabled (Settings > Voice Wake-Up). ^Gina
