Hi BUBBOY - The QN90A does feature HDR 32X which brings details to life with ultra-rich color, deep contrast, and HDR10+ dynamic tone mapping that shifts the color and contrast scene by scene for spectacular clarity. HDR refers to the range of luminance. Additionally, the QN90A features Object Tracking Sound Plus (OTS+) utilizing 6 strategically placed speakers to place sounds exactly where they appear on-screen and optimizes sound based on each scene. Another benefit gained when stepping up from the QN85A is Ultra Viewing Angle which makes every seat in the house a great one. Engineered to reduce glare and enhance color, this feature delivers a vibrant picture no matter where you sit. ^Gina
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think it’s that important. The only difference, apart from the type of display, is the number of speakers. Samsung QN90A has 8 and the QN85A has 6. The sound power is the same, so you can ignore this. I believe both TVs have Q Symphony technology, so you can connect a soundbar and get better sounid.
