The one connect box manages power, too. To answer your question (which i had to as well) you need to decide your audio configuration. We decided to run audio thru our stereo receiver, which meant we had to run the one connect line down in front of the wall-mounted TV (not optimal) and then over to the side where the receiver is located. The other option is to run the one connect line through the wall and into a closet behind it where you house the box, which in our state is illegal.
