I've always run the One Connect cable inside the wall without issues. Don't know it it's CL rated or not, but I and my clients definitely do not want to look at the cable running on the outside of wall, no matter how thin and transplant it is.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the cable included inside the wall and it was fine. I did run into problems when we were remodeling and fished the wire from the wall - it broke easily. I was annoyed, but then my movers broke the actual TV and being annoyed about that made me forget about the cable. Plus, since I had to replace the TV I got a new cable anyway. There are thicker cables available you can buy or have your contractor install a tube so that the cable runs easily and is protected within the wall, if you want further peace of mind.
