Hi Bonnie - The Frame TV's One Connect Box does not need to be placed in the remote's line of sight. Please keep in mind the included One Connect cable is not rated for in-wall installation. An in-wall 5m cable is available (Model VG-SOCR86U/ZA) if you wish to place the One Connect Box in your wall. ^Gina
