• Scott, ensure you are gently sliding the legs into their appropriate slots (left/right labels should be on the legs). ^Gina

• I had the same issue at first...try switching the legs to the opposite holes that you are trying now. They will just slide in and they are twisted outward so you may have them mixed up. Mine didn't click.
