“Does the TV have to be hooked up to the internet or can it be used wireless. Why I am asking is the internet connection is in another room from where the TV will be.”

It is wireless. The TV will use your WiFi so no need to connect it with a wire. It will do it at setup when you first turn the TV and go through the process of getting everything setup to where you want them to be. If BestBuy comes out and sets the TV up, they do it for it.
