A:AnswerBeen researching their 58 inch set for a while and did buy this model. The Samsung 58 inch set from last year, with some still available, appears identical to this one with same specs except has a center mount. Also the same price. I'm guessing the reason for the pedestal mount change to this version with two feet at ends of the box is for stability. And likely determined for safety reasons to change to this design. Have mixed feelings on which design is best for my needs.
