• Greetings! We are glad to answer your questions about this Samsung range model. This Samsung gas range includes Wi-Fi to support Smart Control features such as oven and cooktop monitoring, remote oven control, and other smart functions through the SmartThings app. Wi-Fi is not required for normal operation. The gas range will work fully as a standard range without being connected to a Wi-Fi network. Connecting to Wi-Fi only enables optional smart features. Leo
