• As far as I can tell, the timer functions in whole minutes.

• Thanks so much for asking, Nanny! According to page 29 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/2XDmn5Q) you can set the cooking time for any amount of time from 1 minute to 9 hours and 59 minutes. ^Jecca
