Check out Samsung's website: Samsung Evo (Orange) 64GB http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/memory-storage-accessories/MB-MP64DA/AM Samsung Pro (Silver) 64 GB http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/memory-cards-hdd-odd/memory-cards/micro-sdhc-pro/MB-MG64DA/EU They both have the same specifications, the only difference I saw was that the silver (Pro) is compatible for HS (high speed) transfer rates. Other than that they are basically the same. I would assume if your not running high visual graphics, then you should be fine by getting the EVO (for a fraction of the cost).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The silver card is a "pro" card. Its a lot faster than the orange card. If you shoot 4k videos on a camera, you might need that one but for most normal applications, the orange one should do just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Difference has to do with writing and recall speeds. The orange cards were rated very high for android devices such as phones and tablets. I believe the silver are the samsung pro which is recommended for those who work a lot with high definition video and such.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The upload and download speeds are faster on the gray/silver one
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The colors are to distinguish the speed transfer rate from card to device
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know that you can always go by the color of a product. It's best to look at the description and specs. From what I've seen with the Samsung micro sd cards the the lower speeds are orange. There is also an orange EVO that is 48mbs and the kinda silver one that is the PRO which is 90mbs. The jump in speed from 48 to 90 also double the cost. When buying make sure that you get the right form factor. The color schemes are exactly the same for both sd and micro sd cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Data transfer speed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Samsung - 64GB microSD Class 10 UHS-1 Orange Memory Card has a transfer speed of up to 48MB with UHS-I interface whereas the Silver has a speed up to 90MB.
