Sorry, I don't know. I had Geek Squad install it, and while I do have a DVD player hooked up, I don't know the techno stuff of how. I suggest you ask a Best Buy sales consultant or someone in the Geek Squad. They probably can tell you.

Please try again later.The question is does the tv have bd wise not the blu ray player. the Samsung blu ray player owners manual states that the player does have bd wise but this tv's owners manual has no mention of it and I thought it was a feature of all Samsung products for connecting to other Samsung products. By the way the owner's manual for this tv leaves a lot to be desired. You should not have to go to an e-manual for a tv in this price range to try and figure out how to operate it. You should have a printed manual to walk you thru the various set up procedures. Everyones not a techy.
