• You don't HAVE to have a sounder, BUT I suggest one. Most, if not all of these flat screens are so thin, you lose sound especially bass and midrange...

• So far we have not needed a sound bar or sound system to just have regular sound. However, we do plan on buying one for the surround sound/movie effect. But just generally the sound is good and we have it in a larger room.

• I personally like an additional surround sound... Harmon Karden amp with Bose speakers is nice :-)

• No it has internal speaker. But you may want a surround sound in time to add to the experience.
