• Yes I purchased the Samsung TV. mine came with just one remote.

• This model has a On-screen big remote as well. So the second remote is not necessary. My TV came with a smart remote only.

• Our local cable company has a all-in-one remote that the Best Buy installers programed to run all of our audio/video equipment.
