• Hi! The AU8000 features a 90 degree power cable with grooves on the TV allowing you to route the cable through the back of the TV without adding additional depth to the model. This should allow you to use a recessed outlet to power the TV depending on the position of the outlet in relation to the TV's mounted position. • Uncertain., My TV has a smallish ninety degree plug, so it may or may not fit into your recessed outlet. If it does, you'll probably not be able to use the other outlet in the recess. But this is all supposition, so you might want to look at the plug in a floor demo TV and see what you think.
