“Does this television have good sound quality, or will I need a soundbar?”

I think the sound is pretty good. If it is loud at your place, for example kids making noise, you may need a sound bar as it doesn’t get really loud.

HI, The sound quality of these tv's are very good. I bought the 510 samsung sound bar and sub. Besides the sub the tv is not much different. I was actually unhappy with the sound bar because of it.

Hi MissGirl! The 65RU9000, along with all Samsung TVs, are designed with all features in mind, including audio. If you would like a more immersive experience with surround sound, clear dialog, or have a medium to large space to fill, a soundbar may be the right choice for you. ^Tim
