Small difference in size and weight. 2:2:2 speakers not 4.1. Alexa built in. Different stand. Upgraded main processor. Once the new one comes out the old one will go on sale.

The Q80t is not the successor to the Q80r. The TV you should be comparing this to is the Q70r. As far as upgrades go, we will have to wait until reviews come out.
