Hey Jcrafaga - The Q80R features Ultra Viewing Angle which is engineered to reduce glare and enhance color, providing a vibrant picture no matter where you sit and they also have more LEDs and zones of dimming to make your blacks blacker and whites whiter . So yes the Q80R will provide a picture that is more vibrant and reduce glare to a minimum. ^Jason

I have the Q80, which has a great picture. I’m not sure if it’s any better than the Q70. The difference between the 2 has to do with backlighting, HDR technology and sound. The best thing you can do to see the differences is to check the comparison chart at Samsung.com and then try to view them live, side by side.
