We have Dish Network on one HDMI input and AppleTV with all the apps on another. Would the Tizen system make any difference? I'd like to simplify. null

Dish Network provides the satellite feed of their channels. Apple TV is a web based app. So with the internet via the satellite, you have access to get any web based app. The tv allows access to the internet so you just add Apple TV there.
