Tony, the 7 series is supposed to have a faster processor and can do 3D. I think the picture on my Samsung is phenomenal and don't see a noticeable difference in quality. I have been very happy with the 6 series for movies. I don't see buffering once the program starts, and that is probably be a function of the remoteness and poor quality of internet in the boonies and not the TV itself.
