• I have mine attached to a receiver and separate speakers. you can also connect a sound bar if you don't like the existing TV speakers.

• TV has built-in speakers. External sound system can also be used....best option.

• I purchased this set yesterday. During conversation, sales rep said tv has a good built-in sound. I am connecting to my 7.1 surround system.
