Hi PeteWhistler, The Terrace Partial Sun (LST7D) has an IP56 rating, meaning it's protected from limited dust and strong hosing water jets from any direction. Despite the IP56 rating, The Terrace is not impervious to water damage in any situation. To help prevent this, avoid the TV being subjected to: • Water projected by a source greater than 12.5 mm against enclosure from any direction or submersion in water. • Water projected at greater than 100 KPa (14.5 PSI) with a water volume greater than 100 liters/minute for more than 3 minutes and extreme weather conditions. We also recommend purchasing a Dust Cover to prevent dust, dirt, and other material from accumulating when the TV is not in use for an extended period of time.
