“Can this S965d oled 77" tv be used like 'THE FRAME" 75" to display artwork when not watching tv, and accept a custom frame? If so, please explain why or why not. Thanks”

I had the same questions going into my Samsung purchase. I was “told” everything the Frame could do, my TV could do. 2018 Q7. Terrible experience and the interface is/was awful. I love the TV but no effort will capture art the way the Frame does. I just use the Apple screensaver on the TV. All of the Ambient mode images are embarrassingly bad.

Instead of seeing a blank background when your TV is turned off, you can enhance your screen with landscape images, artwork, and unique scenes. Your own photos can be turned into backgrounds as well with the My Album feature.
