• The physical size of this drive is pretty standard. However I believe its intended for use in tower units. It may be to large to fit a laptop.

• Joe: Yes. If your Toshiba Satellite supports a 2.5” SATA slot, you should have no issue connecting the 870 EVO SSD. - Samsung Memory

• If you know what you're doing sure! You would have to uninstall the brackets attached to the factory HDD and fit them to the new SSD. As long as those brackets fit it should plug in and work fine.
