“Curiosity question. Does this SSD SATA drive have moving parts? SSD drives do not. SATA drives I thought were spinning disks. This drive is marketed as SSD SATA.”

SATA is a type of connector it has nothing to do with the mechanics inside the drive. This is an SSD, there are no spinning mechanisms inside.

You place it directly in a 2.5"slot and click it into the built-in SATA connector in your laptop or console.
