Unlessyour laptop is very old, it should fit in where a mechanical drive fits in. If it does not, i would suggest getting a new laptop first or it will all be a waste.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It would require you to modify the bios to boot to it as an external. There are converter connectors. But you would need additional space for the connector. Not sure if your system has it.

You'll either need an open SATA cable inside your machine, or purchase (for a few bucks) an external SATA-to-USB adapter in order to connect the SSD for cloning. Download the latest version of Samsung's migration tool. The rest is automatic.
