“ok, off the wall question...I use my phone as a hotspot for home internet, and of course, you have to leave it charging all the time while at home. will the wireless or the wired charger work best for me, as far as battery life? Thanks”

I use both, and they work fine for me.

If your phone is in need of a quick charge the wireless charger is the way to go (as it does provide much faster charge times in general). The quick charge does generate a fair amount of additional heat over a traditional charger though (so keep that in mind as it could affect the life span of your device).
