• Haven't noticed that. If it is slow, I simply restart my phone and make sure an energy gobbler like youtube isn't running in the background.

• I have had the charger for a month and I have not seen any drop off in charging time at all. I have an S7 and it is only 2 months old.

• I've been using it everyday now since I purchased it. I have not had an issue with it. I am using it to charge my iPhone 7 plus with a mophie case. If you are having charging issues you might want to start with the power adapter or cord. My galaxy tab would not charge so I purchased a new charger and it works. You must buy the 2amp charger. Anything less with have a trickle charge.
