“I have a brand new S7 Galaxy with Otterbox defender cover the one with the rubber backside cover. Will the S-pad still charge through the cover?”

• I also have an Otterbox cover on my phone. I can only speak for me, but, my phone charges with the case on just fine. My Otterbox cover however, does not have the thick rubber and plastic layers, just the heavy plastic layer

These wireless charging pads do charge through most types of cases, though sometimes it will slow down how fast the charging is. Cases with very thick backs might block out the charging all together.
