“Our phones are Galaxy J7V. They were not listed but also not specifically excluded on the compatability list. Two phones, 2 charging pads. I see no evidence that either are working, in any combination, with or without protective covers. Anybody????”

I believe the phone must be at least a Samsung Galaxy S6 or newer to be compatible with the Qi-enabled wireless chargers. In other words, I'm fairly certain this particular phone doesn't support wireless charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No idea if it works for your phones. I would suggest, buy, try, and return if it doesn't. Best Buy is pretty good about returns. Also, we have the S7 and it doesn't say it works for our phones either. In fact, it says S8 and up. We also have otterbox cases which are typically thicker. It works with the case. Must be flushed. If you have a ring, you have to take the phone out b/c it will not work if the phone is not flushed against the disc.
