Yes. it starts with a orange light and turns to green when your device is fully charged. The light is not so bright even at night. It's just fine.

I would not classify the light as "very bright," but that is in the eye of the beholder so you may think it is too bright. The light is on the "front" edge (away from the plug wire) so it could be turned to face the wall. That may make it less bothersome if you find it too bright when it is facing out into the room.
