Greetings! Congratulations on your newly purchased Samsung refrigerator model. For the ice maker and the autofill water pitcher to work, a water line has to be connected to a water source/supply and the refrigerator. Ensure that the water valve is open and that there is enough water pressure (30 - 125 psi) so the ice maker and the autofill water pitcher can operate properly. On the control panel or the main panel located in the fridge compartment on the right-hand side, enable the AutoFill pitcher and select either Cubed Ice or Ice Bites for the ice maker. I have shared this model's user manual link below. Please turn to the pages below for reference to the instructions given above. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202212/20221216130939356/FDR_RF8000B_DA68-04402B-01_EN_MES_CFR.pdf Page 17 - Refrigerator at a Glance Page 32 - Water Line and Water Pressure Page 34 - Reminder to throw the first 1 - 2 ice buckets.
