How do you turn on the vent on the back for this model, was using the stove and couldn’t figure out how to get the vent turned on to pull heat/steam null

I believe the vent is for the oven itself. It turns on when it is in use it is not a vent fan for the cook top. For that you need a vent hood

The vent located at the back is designed to release heat and airflow when the oven is in use. Please note that this model does not include an exhaust system for the cooktop or stovetop.

If ventilation is needed while using the stovetop, we recommend installing a range hood or an over-the-range microwave with a built-in exhaust function.
