Yes, when installing there is a large rubber? Piece that’s used to insulate the sound. If that is too tight when you screw in the kick plate it will cause this issue. Take off the kick plate and then loosen that rubber piece and it should solve the problem.

I am sure there is adjustments to the but I am also sure you would have to uninstall to get access to make the adjustments. Since it opens by itself there would be some resistance so the door doesn't come slamming down when it finishes the cycle
