Contract Ive always had pre paid phone, my dad as well, and we were looking into getting a galaxy s5 with contacts, except that we both don't have credit since he pays everything in cash and I'm 18. My question is can we still get them for $99.99 since its on sale. He does pay his bills on time all the time but I'm aware that isn't really credit or anything.

Unfortunately, this may not be possible -- a valid credit card typically must be provided during the sign-up process to be eligible for any promotional upgrade pricing. Verizon's customer support team or an in-store Best Buy Mobile specialist may be able to provide an alternative solution though, so you may wish to contact Verizon directly or visit your local store for additional information if you haven't already done so.

Yes you can. I use prepaid cards for everything. Netspend and Bluebird.

Usually the way things work if you have little-to-no credit is they may require you to put down a downpayment. Same thing happened to my Girlfriend when she switched over from her Dads ATT plan to her own plan with Verizon. She has little-to-no credit so they had her put a downpayment on the phone of $100.

you don't need credit card to establish credit, if he had loan on the house or car and paid on time. Go to your local Best Buy and they will do credit check on your dad. Good luck.

Yes you can get the phones at Best Buy because their price will beat even the cell phone store price. I got mine for 99 plus tax and I don't have a lot of credit history either.

Only the service provider would be able to answer that, but I know my brother did not have any issues and he had no credit when he got his first phone at 18

Go with Verizon. You don't pay any extra if you have bad or no credit. They gave me my phones 2 years ago and we are still happy with them

As long as you get approved through the carrier you can indeed sign a contract and get the phone at that price!

check out Best Buy always have good prices on phones the people that work that dept are very helpful and can answer any and all questions you'll leave satisfied and probable with the phone you want my experience was great i left with 2 galaxy 5s check Best Buy online good luck
