• You can have several full spreadsheets open at once. Truly a great productivity tool. I can have a word file, Outlook open, a spreadsheet and a browser open and not have to move a thing to see each of them.

• I use typically 4 to 5 full size applications and I'm not squinting. I don't know about split screen symmetrically but I do know you can make anything work on this screen. There is nothing this screen can't do in terms of screen capabilities. Aside from touch....
