• I'm not familiar with the Tab E but I have the Tab A and I'm guessing they're similar. If it has a slot for a micro SD card then yes, this card is compatible. It's very easy to install. As to how fast it is, that depends on what Class it is and the write speed. This item is a Class 10 and I've found it very fast. Hope this answer helps.
