I purchased this for my Garmin GPS and it worked perfectly - no problems.

If your device accepts a mini sd card, it should work as long as the device recognizes that much memory (note: some older devices may not be able to recognize more than 4gb)...

I think the memory capacity might be too high - it depends on how new is your Garmin?

Yes. I was unable to do full map install (lower 48 states) on Garmin 1490T until I install this microSD.

It works in my Tom Tom perfectlly and i would imagine if ur Garmin calls for this size SD card. It will :)
