Remove it and wipe it with a soft dry cloth

Check with LG on the LG Volt compatibility with SD card formats. Some devices will fit the card but do not support some of the upgraded versions of these cards, as they actually have different storage formats as the spec is upgraded and the capacity increases.

It may be too large for it. Some devices only take up to 16GB

I have a LG Volt and it seems to be working. Go to your service provider
and have them check to make sure!

It might be the wrong class. Check the class rating for your phone and make sure it can use the card
