“I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. I can go up to 64mg micro SD card. What are the differences between the Samsung colored SD cards besides obvious price. Is one color better suited for the smart phone more so than others? What is class 10 ?”

Different color sd card usually represent different read/write speed. In your particular phone, I don't think you need to use the expensive cards because I think the phone itself can only read/write at a certain speed. Therefore getting a faster card would do you no good. Class 10 is the minimum now. I would avoid anything less than that.
