• Yes, this does have pass-through. You can charge both phone and battery pack at the same time. I have it and I do it all the time.

• Hey Brian, I've had this charger for about two weeks & have only used it once but no, I don't believe it has that ability. You have to use the same port to charge the battery to this, that you use when you're charging your phone with it. Hope I helped!
