No, this charger is only usb-a to usb-c. The S7 uses a micro-usb port. However, you can get a connector that connects the USB-C end to a Micro-usb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to come on here answer for all these "elite" members or whatever providing inaccurate information. First of all please don't answer a question if you have no clue what you are talking about. Second this is a basically, forgive the non-technical term, just a "brick" and cable, the "brick" is a transformer that puts about about 5 volts and has a maximum draw of about 2 amps, if I'm not mistaken the voltage can vary (increase) if the phone is fast charge capable to increase the charging rate but I could be wrong on that, and it will only increase if the phone is capable, otherwise the charger outputs the standard 5 volts. My point is that YES, this charger can be used with pretty much any phone that uses a USB-A to micro usb, mini usb, or USB-c. That's the beauty of USB or "Universal" Serial Bus, the voltage is standardized via the USB standard, and is why you can charge your phone, albeit slowly, from a computer USB port. What affects the charging rate is the rated amps of the charger, modern phones need higher amperage to charge faster, especially if you are using it while it's charging as the higher amp out put is needed to overcome the draw of the phone while you are using it. And again, please don't answer if you don't know what you are talking about.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to get the Samsung fast charger that is labeled Micro Usb for the S7. The fast charger with USB Type C will not be able to plug onto your phone.
