It will charge thru the case, but will it charge the battery if the phone is set face down. null

Hey, Cperry! Thanks for your awesome question! We are more than happy to help you out! If you place your device screen down on the wireless charging pad, it will not charge. The reason being that wireless chargers emit an alternating magnetic field via a "transmitter coil", which in turn induces an alternating voltage/current in the "receiver coil" inside the device. This is located on the back of your phone. You will see an indicator light that will let you know when it’s charging. We hope this information helps! Thanks again for reaching out! ^Kim
