“Does this slide-in range run a cooling fan when using the oven (NOT the convection fan- I'm talking about cooling fans for the electronics)? I currently have a GE slide in that I'm about to return because the cooling fans for the electronics are so loud.”

No, we've used the oven both as a single oven and by using the split (upper and lower) feature. We aren't hearing any fan motors running and haven't had any issues since it was installed.

The cooktop will engage the internal cooling fan when in use, and the fan will keep running until the internal components cool down again, even after the cooktop is no longer in use. This sounds like a normal fan noise, buzzing, hissing, or whirring. ^Jecca
