“I used to be able to get text on my radio, listen to the text, get a list of recent calls, use a phone book to call through my radio, but with my new A42 that is all gone. Is there something in the setup that I can activate to bring these features back?”

James, it sounds like you're talking about Bluetooth. I have the A42 and all the features you mentioned are there each time I turn on Bluetooth to connect my cell with my car. You can take your car to a dealer and their sales rep can help you, if needed.
