I asked this same question! I was told that since most people already have chargers, they didn't include chargers with these in order to save $ on shipping.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, it's become common for phones to come without chargers. The manufacturers found that they can get away with it-- it saves them 1 or 2 dollars. Per phone. Laptop manufacturers do do the same thing: they give you ONE usb-c port so you need to buy a hub or adapter if you want a wired internet connection or CD rom.
